FanArt Friday! 2/27/15

Fan art or fanart are artworks created by fans of a work of fiction (generally visual media such as comics, movies, television shows or video games) and derived from a character or other aspect of that work. As fan labor, fan art refers to artworks that are neither created nor (normally) commissioned or endorsed by the creators of the work from which the fan art derives. (Wiki)

Fanart is a major part of the fandom world. It’s something that people can create art out of the thing the love and share it with others. Fanart can be made about anything and everything and in any form. Fanart also explores the things that aren’t cannon; it’ll do things like switching roles or genders, creating dark versions, and even creating whole new outcomes and stories. In this post we’ll showcase just a few different fanart pieces that we like or are some of the more popular ones. As I’ve stated in previous posts, these are not the only types of fanart nor are they the only fandoms that have fanart.

*Warning, there may be possible spoilers ahead, I’ll do my best to keep spoilers out but tread with caution*
